System Architecture Evolution
SAE stands for System Architecture Evolution. The objectives of SAE was new and simplified core network architecture which supports high data rate and low latency and provides all services via packet switching (PS) domain only. The main component of the SAE architecture is the Evolved Packet Core (EPC) also known as SAE Core, this connect to the E-UTRAN.
